This is new conservation planning book being developed by the Craighead Institute and ESRI, to be published in 2010 by ESRI Press. Contributions are being solicited and there will be a major role for GIS experts to become involved in creating example maps, talking about your own cartographic and GIS methodologies, and helping with peer review for the book. A companion online site with supplementary materials to support conservation GIS training courses is envisioned for the Data Basin project or ArcGIS Online.
